The multi-strange baryon yields in lead-lead (Pb-Pb) collisions have been shown to exhibit an enhancement relative
to pp collisions, which has been interpreted as being a signature of the formation of a Quark-Gluon Plasma (QGP)
in heavy-ion collisions. In this work, and production rates according to transverse momentum pT were measured
in p-Pb collisions at a centre-of-mass energy of sNN = 5.02 TeV with ALICE in the rapidity interval 0 < yCMS <
0.5. These multi-strange baryons were reconstructed via the tracks of their weak decay products, which were identi ed
through their measured energy losses and momenta in the ALICE Time Projection Chamber (TPC). Their spectra were
analysed as a function of charged particle multiplicities, which range over one order of magnitude and are intermediate
between the ones observed in pp and Pb-Pb collisions. Their production relative to charged particles was studied and a
comparison of their yields with results from elementary and heavy-ion collisions was made.
