Correlated event-by-event fluctuations of flow harmonics in Pb-Pb collisions at $\sqrt{s_{_{\rm NN}}}=2.76$ TeV

We report on the measurement of centrality dependence of correlated event-by-event fluctuations of elliptic $v_2$ and quadrangular $v_4$ flow harmonics, and of anti-correlated fluctuations of elliptic $v_2$ and triangular $v_3$ flow harmonics. Detailed study is performed in the most central collisions where all flow harmonics originate solely from fluctuations. The results are obtained with particular multiparticle cumulants in mixed harmonics which by construction depend only on the fluctuations of amplitudes of flow harmonics. The comparison is made with the predictions from AMPT and Hijing models. The results presented further constrain initial conditions, properties and the evolution of the system produced in heavy-ion collisions.
