Rapidity and transverse-momentum dependence of the inclusive J/$\mathbfψ$ nuclear modification factor in p-Pb collisions at $\mathbf{\sqrt{\textit{s}_{NN}}}=5.02$ TeV

The ALICE Collaboration has studied inclusive J/psi production in p-Pb collisions in the center of mass rapidity regions -4.46<y<-2.96, -1.37<y<0.43 and 2.03<y<3.53, down to zero transverse momentum (pT). In this Letter, we present the nuclear modification factor R_pPb as a function of pT for each of the rapidity domains under study. The results are compared to theoretical models including various sources of cold nuclear matter effects. Finally, the implications of these results on our understanding of the observations carried out in Pb-Pb collisions are discussed.
