The proton run ended Thursday 4.11.2010 - the first Pb-Pb collisions were recorded on Sunday 7.11.2010

On Monday 8.11.2010 at 11:20 LHC declared for the first time

"Stable Beams with Ions"

One of the first events from lead-lead collisions at a centre-of-mass energy of 2.76 TeV per nucleon pair.

This is an online reconstructed event from the High Level Trigger (HLT), showing tracks from the Inner

Tracking System (ITS) and the Time Projection Chamber (TPC) of ALICE.
