7 TeV proton proton collisions expected for the 30 March 2010

Inside the ALICE Control Rooms

18:30 Monday 29.3.2010 ALICE is ready to record 7 TeV collisions

During the nignt of 29->30 March beam gas interactions were recorded

12:20 Tuesday 30.3.2010 ALICE is ready waiting for collisions

There have been two injections and ramping up of the proton beams during the morning but the beam was

lost on both trials. Now beams have been injected again and their energy is being ramped up to 3.5 TeV per beam.

13:01 First 7 TeV collisions seen by ALICE.
